Corvara/Val Passiria, 20 December 2019 – Only a few days ago the club Eisturm Rabenstein had no doubts that the artificial ice climbing facility in Val Passiria would be ready for opening on 26 December. Now, however, the far too warm temperatures in the whole of the Alpine region give rise to cause for concern.

“We were in a very good place. Unfortunately, the weather may be forcing us to change our plans. We will do what we can and make every possible effort to open on time despite the adverse circumstances. We will keep the ice climbing community informed”, Reinhard Graf, President of the Eisturm Rabenstein commented.
